Diploma (43 weeks)
The Internet as a platform and one of its major components in the World-Wide-Web, has allowed e-business to thrive in the past few years, as well as numerous start-up companies with new ideas and business models. Virtually all companies around the world with traditional business models have set up or are in the process of setting up their business processes on the World-Wide-Web. The possibilities are virtually endless. These developments in the business world have resulted in a massive global skills shortage in this field.
People with the right knowledge and experience in design and development of software for the web are highly sought after. This has naturally pushed out the boundaries of salaries for personnel with these technical skills.
Successful students of this course will be able to take advantage of the critical skills shortage and ultimately demand high salaries. This course is also a base point for individuals to decide which technical area they would like to specialize in their future.
There are three groups of courses offered:
Students will be required to obtain a score of at least 70% in each subject with an overall average of 75% in order to graduate.
After successful completion of the program, a Diploma certified from Windsor Career College will be granted.
This program is approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.
This program is covered in ten months (43 weeks) based on twenty hours per week and four hours a day.
