To secure employment in today’s job market, you need up-to-date business skills. In order to enter the workforce or change careers, you must have a solid foundation in basic skills. This diploma program has been designed to provide you with entry level skills in preparation for today’s office administration. Graduates will provide business skills with office support in the areas of information processing, report writing and presentations, software support training, medical secretarial support and electronic file management.


The diploma program will develop:

  • Refined written and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced software skills including: spreadsheets, databases, presentations, electronic mail and schedules
  • Business relations: evaluation, team building, networking, planning and project management
  • Computerized Accounting Systems: payroll, inventory, financial statements, Simply Accounting and QuickBooks
  • Understanding of the medical office environment

3. Medical Office Courses

4. Personal Improvement Courses

  • Project Management

Grading System and Certification

Students will be required to obtain a score of at least 70% in each subject with an overall average of 75% in order to graduate.

After successful completion of the program, a Diploma certified from Windsor Career College will be granted.

This program is approved as a vocational program under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005.

Duration and Schedule

This program is covered in seven and a half months (30 weeks) based on twenty hours per week and four hours a day.
